Pregnancy is the perfect time to reminisce on how you and your partner came together. Remembering what led up to this part of your journey to becoming a family. It’s important to honor and document how you got to this point no matter if this is your third, eighth or tenth child.
I prefer taking maternity photos on location. I love shooting maternity photos with beautiful landscape backgrounds. Maternity photos can also be done in the comfort of your own home, or at one of the many studios located in and around Minneapolis.
The best time to take maternity photos are when you’re 28 - 36 weeks pregnant (7 - 8 months). The belly has a nice round shape during this time, and you’re still comfortable enough for a photo shoot, which is very important! I want nothing more than for you to feel comfortable during your photos.
Pregnancy isn't always a walk in the park. Whether you love how you look and feel or not, a professional maternity photo shoot will make you feel beautiful. If you’re not feeling up to traveling, having in-home maternity pictures will still be very special and memorable.
I can capture the special and intimate moments between you and your partner before your new bundle of joy joins your lives. If you have a fur-baby, they can join in on the photos too!
