Addyson’s Senior Pictures At Mill City Ruins & Boom Island Park

Senior pictures should feel personal, meaningful, and true to who you are. Addyson’s session was exactly that. As a Lakeville senior photographer and Minneapolis senior photographer, I always encourage seniors to incorporate things they love into their senior photography experience. Addyson did just that in the most beautiful way.

Addy chose two iconic Minneapolis locations: the historic Mill City Ruins for an urban vibe and Boom Island Park for a softer, nature-inspired backdrop. The combination gave her senior photos an incredible variety and depth.

Urban Senior Pictures at Mill City Ruins

We started her session at the Mill City Ruins in downtown Minneapolis. There, the industrial and city vibes created the perfect setting for bold, modern senior pictures. During this part of her session, Addy included her Bible in a few photos to showcase her love for Christ. It was such a meaningful addition. This was a powerful way to reflect on what matters most to her during this milestone season.

Natural Beauty at Boom Island Park

We finished her session at Boom Island Park. Here, the greenery, the Mississippi River, and views of the Minneapolis skyline brought a soft, romantic feel to her senior photo gallery. Addy’s outfits were intentionally chosen for each location. I have to say, my favorite outfit was her super cute pink dress. It popped beautifully against the lush greens and fit her personality perfectly. The contrast between the urban and nature settings created a well-rounded collection of senior pictures she’ll cherish for years.

Addy’s session was the perfect mix of style, personality, and faith. I’m so honored to have captured this special chapter of her life.
