I often get asked what my favorite locations are for family photos. While Minnesota is full of beautiful picturesque places, but these are my favorite parks for family photos, especially in the fall.
Arneson Acres Park – Edina, Minnesota
If you’ve had your photos taken here before, you know why this location is my #1. Arneson Acres Park has endless possibilities for family photos. The beautiful fountain, hundreds of flowers, and a peaceful courtyard make for perfect backdrops for your family.
Ritter Farm Park – Lakeville, Minnesota
If you’re a Lakeville native, you already know how beautiful this park is. It’s got everything from woods, lakes, fields, and even a cute little log cabin. Ritter Farm Park is the perfect spot for your next family photo shoot.
White Tail Regional Park – Farmington, Minnesota
White Tail Regional Park is beautiful all year round, but it’s especially gorgeous in the fall. There are tall pines, wide open fields, and even a playground for your kids to play on after your family photo shoot.
Lebanon Hills Regional Park – Eagan, Minnesota
Lebanon Hills is a new one for me, but I love it nevertheless. The boardwalk over the lake is the PERFECT spot for fall family photos. Talk about gorgeous fall foliage reflecting off the water in the background of your family photo!
Boom Island – Minneapolis, Minnesota
Boom Island Park is a fan favorite for many Minneapolis families. The historic bridge offers the perfect setting for family photos. There’s also a great spot that’s a quick walk from the bridge that has an amazing view of the Minneapolis skyline.
