When Meagan first inquired about their senior pictures, they mentioned how they wanted their senior photos unlike everyone else’s. Meagan didn’t want to go to the Stone Arch Bridge or Minnehaha Falls, they wanted their senior pictures taken inside an arcade. There are a few arcades in the Twin Cities area, but I knew Can Can Wonderland would be the perfect place! I researched the arcade and got to work on brainstorming ideas.
Meagan’s senior pictures definitely fall into my top five favorite senior sessions of all time. Meagan arrived wearing overalls and rainbow everything; I was OBSESSED! Their mom, dad, and sister came along to watch Meagan get their senior pictures taken, but let’s be honest, they came with so they could play some games (I can’t say I blame them, haha)!
Can Can Wonderland Here We Come!
We arrived right as Can Can Wonderland opened. Everyone was amazed at how cool it was in there. Every arcade game you could imagine and more! Meagan’s family went off to play while we took pictures of Meagan! It was as fun as you’d imagine!
Can Can Wonderland has this cool stage area with various objects hanging on the wall. It almost looks like you’re in the coral reef! With the blacklight shining on the space and the rainbow colors Meagan was wearing, we knew we had take some senior pictures here!
We walked around for a bit, looking at the different games, some of which were from the 50s’. We found some pinball machines with colorful lights and fun themes. I had Meagan pose next to them, and they’re some of my favorite shots!
So Much Fun, So Little Time!
Meagan, your shoot was SO. MUCH. FUN! Seriously, I cannot stop thinking about it to this day! Your outfit matched the location PERFECTLY, which is so awesome! I love when seniors’ outfits and the locations they choose go hand-in-hand; it helps show off their unique personalities even more! It was so much fun getting to know you and playing games together! I can’t wait to see where life takes you, and I hope you have a fantastic senior year!!
