Addie’s senior session, my first of the season, was an absolute blast! The weather was perfect, the locations were stunning, and Addie herself was a vision of beauty. Her mom and grandma, full of enthusiasm, added to the joy of the session. Their reactions to the sneak peeks on the camera were priceless! I wish they could come with me to every session and be my hype-women!
Urban Senior Picture Vibes
Addie’s vision for her senior pictures was to capture the urban vibe of St. Anthony Main and the natural beauty of a tall grass field. We started at the picturesque St. Anthony Main, in front of the Aster Cafe. Then, we moved to the iconic ‘Rock Spot’ across the street, framing the stunning Minneapolis skyline and the Mississippi River. St. Anthony Main, with its cobblestone streets and hidden gems, is always the perfect backdrop for urban senior pictures!
Classic Senior Picture Field Shots
After an outfit change and a few more photos along St. Anthony Main, we headed to the downtown Minneapolis side of the Mississippi River. We went straight to the area above the Mill City Ruins Park to get some classic tall grass field shots. After that, we walked to the West River Parkway Courtyard for more photos. Addie changed into her final outfit (a beautiful lime green dress), and we returned to the tall grass field area for final shots. The sun peaked from the clouds, giving us some of that gorgeous golden hour glow!
Overall, it was a fun and exciting start to the 2024-2025 senior season! Needless to say, Addie, her mom, and her grandma loved the final gallery and now have a ton of beautiful memories to remember Addie’s senior year by. Check out a few of my personal favorites from Addie’s session below!
