There’s something magical about senior photos at the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum in Chaska, MN. The way every corner feels like a perfect backdrop is a photographer’s dream. I had such an amazing time capturing senior pictures with one of my senior reps, Isla, and I can’t wait to share a few favorites from her session!

From lush gardens to whimsical water fountains and dreamy fields, the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum truly has it all. Whether we’re working golden hour or bright midday light, every part of this location gives gorgeous variety, perfect for a timeless senior photo shoot.
I always love incorporating multiple looks and spots into a senior photoshoot here because it allows the senior’s personality to shine in different ways.
Isla brought such great energy to her senior photoshoot, and her outfits were phenomenal! We started in the gardens where softer tones and natural light set the mood, then wandered through an open field for some timeless field photos and candid moments. She was a total natural and brought so much joy to the shoot.
Capturing genuine smiles and moments like these is one of my favorite parts of senior photography. It was such a joy photographing you, Isla. Your senior photo session was full of stunning moments, and I’m so excited you’ll have these memories forever.
